For 65 years, Recovery Inc. has sponsored weekly group meetings , which now number in the hundreds across North America and abroad. Its practices are widely endorsed by the professional community. The meetings all demonstrate the same systematic techniques, not unlike the more recent cognitive and behavioral therapies, techniques which help patients to prevent relapses and reduce chronic suffering from mental disorders.
